Description
Scamorza is the only stretched curd cheese salted, dried and ripened for c.72 hours. With its variety of formats (from spherical shape and a small bump to long log and pearls), the product’s name derives from this typical shape that looks like a “severed head” (“capa mozza”). Scamorza can be tasted in its classic format or “smoked” to add a decisive stronger flavour.
Our Scamorza (both the classic and the smoked one) is available in as whole in four formats (10g, 200g 400g and 1,000g) or shredded, ready to sprinkle on your pizza. They will be prepared and packaged and will be delivered to your door. Always keep refrigerated.
